Size: 6ftx6ftx3ft Size: 12ftx10ftx3ft internal volume
Materials: 1/8" Lexan for the walls, 16ga steel for the floor. Materials:
  • 1/2" hanging lexan for the walls
  • 1/8" steel for the floor
  • 2"x3" "C" channel for perimeter bumper
  • The roof is military kevlar fabric over free-floating plywood panel
Saw: 12V motor running a 5 1/4" blade that sticks-up through the floor ~1 1/4". Active Arena Weapons:
  • Spinning rubber drum
  • Rotating stainless steel paddle wheel
  • The FlipSlapper
  • The Pile Driver

ALL weapons are auto-controlled (always on or activated by robots).(location and type will change from event to event)

Spike Strip:

 1 1/2" long, spaced 2" apart and 5/8" above the floor. Passive arena weapons:
  • Perimeter strip - Rows of hardened steel teeth from an agricultural thresher. Serrated teeth are razersharp, ~2" long, and protrude just above 3" steel curb.
  • Rocky road - A 2'x4' uneven section of arena with embedded rocks and pieces of
    steel (objects will protrude up to 1.5" above arena floor, this module will likely partner with the Pile Driver active weapon to prevent stuck robots)
  • The Cliff - Runs along the 12ft edge of arena with 1' moat outside. Robots can be tossed over
    the wall and out of the arena (KO).
